The film is an escape into dance – an ode to silent spaces and forgotten presence, where the body shifts silent voids. DanceSapes is a 360° virtual reality experience that brings together five choreographers and nineteen performers in a single journey through music, revisiting sites across the Adriatic–Balkan region. In a full-circle view, as one continuous momentum, we embrace the stories of the past while, through the dance, we reimagine the future.

My vision was to trace connections between distinct movement languages, soundscapes, the interplay of light and darkness, architectural resonances, and unique scenery. The dance breathes life back into these spaces, like an echo travelling through landscapes. Some movements carry threads of the past, others move through the rush of everyday life. We draw attention to the individual while diving deeper into a space where two worlds collide – where the burden of the past also brings the community closer together. It sparks collectiveness, alliance, and a movement that does not stop, continuing to exist in hope, where light is born from the cracks where dreams are built.
