Peter Purg <\/strong>(Novi mediji, Akademija umetnosti Univerze v Novi Gorici)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pogovor bo vodila:<strong> doc. dr. Kristina Pranji\u0107<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koncept sta zasnovali:<strong> doc. dr. Kristina Pranji\u0107 in dr. Magdalena Germek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nedavna reaktivacija <em>Sensterja<\/em> (2017\/18), enega prvih uspe\u0161nih primerov kibernetske umetnosti iz sedemdesetih, do katere je pri\u0161lo na pobudo Univerze za znanost in tehnologijo AGH v Krakovu, odpira pomemben sklop vpra\u0161anj, ki so povsem kriti\u010dno-sociolo\u0161ke in filozofsko-estetske narave ter izhajajo iz specifik trenutnega prostora in \u010dasa. V prvi vrsti gre za problematizacijo legitimacije financiranja tovrstnih dragih projektov, v \u010dasu ko se finan\u010dna sredstva v veliki meri dodeljujejo predvsem uporabni tehnologiji. Podobno je komentiral tudi sam avtor skulpture, Edward Ihnatowicz, da je eden od vodilnih razlogov, zakaj umetniki zapu\u0161\u010dajo kibernetiko, ravno visoka cena tovrstne tehnologije, ki je tako prepu\u0161\u010dena komercializaciji, povezani s filmsko industrijo, Disneylandom in znanstveno-fantastiko. Kako potemtakem v svetu masovne proizvodnje, industrije zabave in usmeritve v pragmati\u010dnost ter uporabnost tehnologije obuditi zaupanje v kiberneti\u010dno umetnost? Ali lahko reaktivacijo <em>Sensterja <\/em>razumemo kot konstruktiven korak proti komercializaciji in (profitnem) pragmatizmu tehnologije?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Po drugi strani pa o\u017eivitev tega dela nagovarja tudi vpra\u0161anje, povezano s kritiko feti\u0161izacije objektov iz preteklosti. Cilj tovrstnega obujanja preteklih del je ravno v o\u010daranosti nad njihovo \u00bbzastarelostjo\u00ab oz. \u00bbretro-momentom\u00ab. Tudi Ihnatowicz, ki v enem od intervjujev skoraj prero\u0161ko najavi obuditev svojega dela v prihodnosti, vidi osrednjo te\u017eavo nove poustvaritve dela v tem, da bi bilo kriterijem umetnosti zado\u0161\u010deno \u017ee s samo ponovitvijo originalne konstrukcije. To bi namre\u010d pomenilo zgolj glorifikacijo zaradi retrogardnega principa oz. \u00bbretrogardno feti\u0161izacijo\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Umetni\u0161ke ideje Ihnatowicza pa so od samih za\u010detkov njegovega dela bile povezane s tehnolo\u0161ko revolucijo in vizionarskim pogledom v prihodnost. Dejstvo je, da sta umetni\u0161ka in tehnolo\u0161ka revolucija pri njem nujno povezani. Zato bi po umetniku tudi obuditev umetni\u0161kega dela, ki obstaja na preseku s tehnologijo in znanostjo, morala upo\u0161tevati nove tehnolo\u0161ke zmo\u017enosti, ki jih je v vmesnem \u010dasu prinesel napredek tehnologije. Vse ostalo bi namre\u010d pomenilo le zanimivo ponovitev dela, ki pa bi bilo brez pravega umetni\u0161kega doprinosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upo\u0161tevajo\u010di to misel kiberneti\u010dnega umetnika, se moramo potemtakem vpra\u0161ati natanko o gesti same reaktivacije dela. Postavlja se nam \u0161ir\u0161e vpra\u0161anje smisla in cilja obujanja medijskih in\u0161talacij iz preteklosti v dana\u0161njem \u010dasu \u2013 ali tovrstne ponovitve tehno-umetnin ostanejo v obmo\u010dju arhiviranja za potrebe izobra\u017eevanja in kulturne dedi\u0161\u010dine ali pa vseeno spadajo v obmo\u010dje umetni\u0161kega? Ali je torej ponovitev umetnine brez tehnolo\u0161ke nadgradnje torej nujno nekaj, kar samo na sebi nima estetske vrednosti ali pa je mo\u017eno \u017ee v samem aktu ponovitve videti nekaj, kar ni le preprosta iteracija, ampak akt ustvarjanja novega? To bi pomenilo, da bi izhajali iz specifi\u010dnega filozofskega pojma ponavljanja (Kierkegaard, Deleuze), ki zaobjema tudi koncepte \u00bbzareze\u00ab, \u00bbdiskontinuitete\u00ab in \u00bbproizvodnje novega\u00ab (Badiou).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V povezavi z zahtevo po proizvajanju novega, ki v veliki meri danes tudi konstituira na\u0161e zaznavanje umetni\u0161kega, se moramo dotakniti naslednjega zanimivega aspekta \u2013 in to je sama tema zastarelosti in trajanja forme, ki pa je, posebej znotraj podro\u010dja tehnolo\u0161kega, povezana ravno z idejo napredka, specifi\u010dnega za razvoj kapitalisti\u010dnega modusa ekonomske produkcije. Vpra\u0161anje zastarelosti je v kiberneti\u010dni umetnosti zelo pomembno vpra\u0161anje, ki naslavlja osrednji moment, na katerem sloni posebnost tovrstnega umetni\u0161kega dela. Kibernetski moment se \u017ee po svoji definiciji konstantno spreminja, nadgrajuje in je povsem podrejen zakonom napredka. Kaj je potemtakem tisto, kar omogo\u010da tovrstni umetnosti, da traja? Ali gre nemara za to, da je moment trajanja pravzaprav vpisan v umetni\u0161ko formo? Ali je torej natanko umetni\u0161ka forma oz. umetni\u0161ki koncept tisti, ki je zmo\u017een ve\u010dnosti in univerzalnosti, ne glede na tehnolo\u0161ke spremembe?
