Contemporary society presents individualism as the pinnacle of freedom, while subtly standardizing us in the background. Through upbringing, social norms, and biological necessity, human beings are always part of a community that shapes their needs and worldview. Paradoxically, in the era of artificial intelligence, this relationship becomes even more complex. While the conveniences of the digital age physically alienates us, algorithms simultaneously consume our data, merging us into a new form of collectivity on a meta-level.
Do we, therefore, lose the need for collective, tangible reality that once\u2014such as in the case of workers’ solidarity\u2014constituted the core of human unity?
The installation *Access to Collective Individual* is an interactive digital amalgam. Through three interconnected stages, it collects data and facial scans from visitors, transforming them into the on-screen representation of a single, shared subject. The automatic consent to create a banal password in order to proceed with the process exposes our everyday obedience to the digital system\u2014do we surrender our identity for our own security, or for the security of the corporations that control this data? The sound emanating from the installation resonates like an echo in a cave, signaling the continuous algorithmic accumulation of our alienated identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
