A traditional sculpture studio can sometimes turn into a real laboratory! This is exactly what happened to sculptor Slavko Tihec when he began creating intriguing art installations that combine movement, water, and sound in an ever-changing interplay of forms. Although carefully planned, Tihec’s aquamobiles appear light and playful, and they never cease to surprise us with new images and experiences.

How challenging is (or was) their construction, what materials are they made of, and how do these moving sculptures actually work? In this workshop, we’ll experiment and create together, and we’ll try our hand at making aquamobiles ourselves.
