Invisible Beauty
Filip Borelli
interactive, ultraviolet kinetic sculpture/performance
Invisible Beauty is an interactive, ultraviolet kinetic sculpture/performance based on physical experiments with natural forces. The core of the artwork is a mobile, tangible, and adaptable 3D object serving as a medium for visualizing the invisible laws of physics. The model consists of fluorescent strings of varying lengths attached to a rotating propeller. Accompanied by original ambient music, the installation imitates the interaction of natural forces, transforming the space into a dynamic laboratory of light and motion.
The performance is moderated by the author, who manipulates the system by adding strings and modifying rotational speed, demonstrating how the system adjusts to new conditions in its pursuit of balance. A ball attached by the author symbolizes a planet, using aesthetics to exemplify complex natural laws. The audience is invited to actively participate in building a new version of the sculpture by adding elements, turning the project into a shared social experience and a process of creating fractal and sacred geometry.
