iPoet is a mobile application that integrates multimedia poetry. The project is a synthesis of the artistic aspirations of Slovenian avant-gardists: the poet Srečko Kosovel, the painter and graphic artist Avgust Černigoj, and the composer Marij Kogoj. The user of the app constructs the INTEGRALs artwork, co-creating the COLLECTIVE – a new white society of the future, which is being built on the web portal www.ipoet.app. The first version of the i-POET application (2004) was created on the 100th anniversary of Kosovel’s birth. On the 100th anniversary of the poet’s death (2026), the iPoet.app application has been updated for a modern generation of mobile devices. iPoet is a monument to Srečko Kosovel and the Slovenian historical avant-garde that we can fit into any pocket. On the 100th anniversary of Kosovel’s passing, art has thus finally been able to become constructive, synthetic, and collective.
